Where we work

Olathe is home. We cover the Johnson County towns around it — the whole southwest half of the Kansas City metro, from Prairie Village down to Spring Hill and west to De Soto.

Olathe, neighbourhood by neighbourhood

We are somewhere in the city most days. The old grid around the courthouse square, Santa Fe Street and Cherry, where the houses are a century old and on their fifth or sixth roof. Havencroft, Brougham, Black Bob and Indian Creek, the 1970s and '80s ranches where a four-in-twelve pitch and a single lifted course puts water straight into a living room. Persimmon Hill, Fairfield, Lakeshore, Forest View and Mill Creek. West across Ridgeview into Cedar Creek, Stonebridge, Arbor Creek, Heatherstone, Boulder Creek and Prairie Farms, where the steep 1990s and 2000s roofs have valleys, dormers and chimney crickets that fail long before the field shingles do. And out past Lone Elm and south of 151st, where the newest sections are still filling in.

And the towns around it

Overland Park

The biggest market in the county, and two completely different roofing problems: 1950s ranches in the north, 2000s two-storys south of 135th.

Lenexa

City Center, Falcon Valley, Canyon Farms and the older streets off Santa Fe Trail Drive.

Shawnee

Clear Creek, Bradshaw Farms and the mature-tree streets around Shawnee Mission Park.

Gardner & Edgerton

Fast-growing, wide open to the wind, and right beside the intermodal.

Spring Hill

New subdivisions on exposed ground at the south edge of the county.

De Soto

River-bluff town in the middle of the biggest industrial build in Kansas history.

Leawood & Prairie Village

Older, expensive housing stock with slate, tile, cedar and complicated rooflines.

Outside this list? Call anyway. We regularly work Merriam, Mission, Roeland Park, Bonner Springs and the Miami County side of Spring Hill, and we will tell you honestly if you are far enough out that someone closer would serve you better.
